DAY ONE ….. My boyfriend Jordan Witt is going to be driving in the Chevron GT3 here and will be doing the notorious Hill climb! Typically held in late June or early July, the event is scheduled to fit into the motor racing calendar to avoid a date clash with the Formula One season, enabling not just fans but many teams involved in current motor racing championships to attend. Must be feeling romantic because I have been thinking of places that I want to visit next and I came across some amazing images of Islands, forests etc all in a natural heart shape! I know its not St Valentines day but I couldnt resist the opportunity to share them with you! This beautifully shaped island can be found just south of Zadar in Croatia. Called Galesnjak, this little gem measures just 1/2 kilometre at its widest point and must be reached by boat. See the island on Google Maps here. A perfectly heart-shaped lake can be found near Columbia Hills Corners in Ohio, but not much else is known about this curious feature. It seems to be part of a private residence. I have put together some of my favourite images of 60′s icons for you to enjoy. They are mostly fashion related, as for me the 60′s were the era that really set the bar when it came to fashion. I think we are all inspired by these images in some way in our lives, the way we dress, in our jewellery design etc. If you look at the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine below from Sept 2010 you will see that even lady Gaga has been inspired by the 60′s in this shoot! I did my first press interview recently with the Irish Independent Life magazine! I was really proud to do it as I am three quarters Irish but at the same time it was very scarey! However, as soon as I spoke to the journalist Julia Moloney I was immediately put at ease and really enjoyed the experience. The interview was published today and I am so proud to be featured in the same issue as Cheryl Cole and Jamie Oliver! What do you guys think? Love Poppy x

Today (8th June 2012) is World Oceans day……. I love the sea and everything connected to it which is why a lot of my website is based around my travels and adventures which usually include a little gem by the sea whether that be the caribeen sea, the Mediterranean Sea or the Atlantic.
